Urban League Young Professionals Announce 2012 Leadership Awards Recipients
Local Young Professionals to be awarded at “White Party” themed event
The Urban League of Central Carolinas Young Professionals (ULCCYP) is rolling out the white carpet for the 2012 Leadership Awards
recipients. ULCCYP will host the 5th Annual Leadership Awards “An All White Affair” event Saturday, June 23 in Charlotte, NC. Guests are encouraged to wear white.
- Ms. Kaniche F. Cezar; Group Relations Manager, Enterprise Holdings, Inc. Ms. Cezar is responsible for the strategic development and execution of the North Carolina Group’s diversity and community relations initiatives. She serves on various boards and committees including the Girl Talk Advisory Council, the United Way Central Carolinas Allocations committee, the National Urban League’s Black Executive Exchange Program (BEEP) and Carolinas Minority Supplier Development Council.
- Mr. Larry “Nolimit Larry” Mims; Morning Radio Personality, WPEG-Power 98. Mr. Mims’ has twice earned the title of Personality of the Year by Retail and Records for his work in radio. He was also named number 23 in Source Magazine’s Top 30 Radio Power DJs. When not on the air, Mr. Mims devotes his energies to mentoring youth, being a Board of Directors member for Thomas Davis’ Defending Dreams Foundation and he is founder of the Children of Murdered Parents Foundation.
